Privacy Policy

APN Tech Limited (RM 5003, 5/F, Yau Lee Centre, 45 Hoi Yuen Road, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong), hereinafter “APN”, does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier to use its app and VPN service. When you install the app, a random client identifier is generated on your device; it is not linked to your Apple ID, Google account, or any personal information.

To run the service, APN stores a small amount of technical information: your client identifier, your device model and operating system version, the IP addresses of your recent connections, and the volume of traffic carried for you. Connection records—IP addresses and traffic volume—are kept for no longer than 7 days and then deleted automatically.

APN uses this information only to operate and protect the service: the client identifier for authentication, the device model and OS version for diagnostics and crash analysis, IP addresses to detect abuse and to report malicious or criminal activity to the authorities, and traffic volume to limit or block abusive use.

APN never inspects, logs, or stores the content of your traffic, your browsing history, or your DNS queries.

Payments are handled entirely by the App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery; APN never sees your card or banking details. APN keeps a record of each transaction—its identifier, amount, and time—solely for accounting and dispute resolution.

The in-app help assistant answers your questions with the help of the OpenAI API. When you ask a question, the text of that question and the recent conversation are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply; your IP address and client identifier are never sent. A question may contain whatever you choose to type, so please do not share account, payment, device, or connection details with the assistant. Under OpenAI’s API terms this text is used only to produce the reply, is not used to train its models, and is retained only briefly for abuse monitoring before deletion.

Apart from the help-assistant processing described above, APN does not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties, and does not share it with anyone. The only other exception is a valid legal request from law enforcement, which APN is obliged to honor.

All data is stored in APN’s database hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States.

No analytics or advertising services are used.
